Newcomer Orientation

Presented by Connecticut Intergroup

Join us for a newcomer orientation designed to help individuals learn more about Overeaters Anonymous and get answers to common questions about recovery.

Following a brief member share, participants will review the Where Do I Start? pamphlet and have an opportunity to ask questions in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) format. Topics may include what to expect in OA, how meetings work, sponsorship, abstinence, and getting started in recovery.

Newcomers are encouraged to attend, and OA members are welcome to join to share hope and demonstrate that recovery is possible.

Schedule

Event takes place August 12, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
